A highly instructive conference was held on Thursday in Amphi 225 of the Faculty of Science of Education (FSE) at UYI, on the theme: "Creation, management and leadership of a successful Cameroonian company: The case of François Santé – Bôme François". Création, management et leadership d’une entreprise camerounaise à succès : Cas de la société François Santé – Bôme François ».
Chaired by the Dean of the FSE, Prof. Bienvenue Cyrille Bela, the meeting brought together many students who came to draw inspiration from the career of Mr François Désiré Ekouma Ananga, CEO of François Santé, better known as "Bôme François". The entrepreneur shared his experience and the success story of his company, which produces a 100% Cameroonian drug currently distributed in all ten regions of the country and beyond, including in Europe and America.
In his speech, Prof. Bienvenu Cyrille Bela praised the initiative, which he said was "fully in line with the new law on higher education policy, which focuses on university-business relations". He also reassured students that such meetings would be held more frequently throughout the academic year, following the guidelines set out by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rémy Magloire Etoua, to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture within the university community.
