The University of Yaounde I is a leading research centre in Cameroon,
focusing on scientific innovation to meet African needs. It covers a wide range
of areas, including health, the environment, renewable energies and artificial
intelligence. Its main areas include the basic sciences (mathematics,
chemistry, physics), life and biomedical sciences, engineering (NAPSY), and
the arts and humanities
