The University of Yaounde I (UYI) offers accommodation in halls of residence,
which are currently being renovated to improve living conditions and security.
To apply for a room, students are required to submit supporting documents
(national identity card, birth certificate, proof of enrolment). Selection is based
on the distance from the student’s home and academic performance.

on-campus accommodation service at the Student Welfare Department
(DCOU).
