Its mission is to train highly skilled technicians and engineers in wood processing and sustainable development. IUT-BOIS specializes in wood and forestry technologies, as well as in training for careers in the wood industry.

Entrance exam for first-year students, generally open to holders of scientific, technical, or industrial high school diplomas (series C, D, E, TI, BT). Location: Mbalmayo, in Cameroon’s Central Region, on the campus of the National School of Water and Forests (ENEF).
The FMSB trains healthcare professionals through national competitive exams:

New programs have been established at the institution since the start of the 2018–2019 academic year: these are “Digital Arts” and “Digital Humanities.” These programs are unique in that they are designed for students who have earned a humanities-track high school diploma.
- The “Digital Arts” track: refers to any art created using digital tools (computers, interfaces, networks). This track offers three specializations: 2D and 3D Design, Graphic Design and Multimedia, and Animation (video games, cartoons, etc.).
- The “Digital Humanities” track: Students will learn about strategic knowledge and information management, multimedia communication, economic and legal engineering, cyberspace, and cybercrime.
During the first two years, students in these new programs will take core courses. They will then have the opportunity to specialize.
