The CEO of DÔVV shares his track record at UYI
On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, the Amphi 225 lecture hall of the Faculty of Science of Education at the University of Yaounde I hosted a conference on the theme: "Training and wealth: how to become rich". The guest speaker was Philippe Tagne Noubissi, Chief Executive Officer of DÔVV Distribution.
The meeting was attended by many students, lecturers and administrative staff of the Faculty.
In his welcome address, the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Education (FSE), Professor Cyril Bella, emphasised the importance of such conferences in the training of FSE students. He particularly underscored their role in the new higher education paradigm in Cameroon, which focuses on professionalizing training and opening up to the socio-professional world.
Taking the floor, CEO Philippe Tagne Noubissi started by "expressing gratitude to the authorities of the University of Yaounde I for the exchange forum". His presentation was a brief overview of his entrepreneurial path, the challenges associated with entrepreneurship, as well as the opportunities and assets available to young people to succeed.
The conference continued with an interactive question-and-answer session with the students, who were particularly interested in the speaker's experience and advice.
