UYI Information and Guidance Centre
The University of Yaounde I (UYI) has an Information and Guidance Centre
(CINO) to enable students and parents to find out more about studies and
student life at UYI.
For those who wish to view our information leaflets, find out more about the
courses offered at UYI, the options available and career prospects, get help
choosing a course, or ask any questions about student life or day-to-day life on
campus?
The CINO team is available all year round and offers the following services:
- General reception, call duty service and documentation
- Discussion with a guidance counsellor or a student advisory officer
- Understanding how studies are organized at UYI
- Tips on how to succeed at UYI
- Information on campus life
- Information on social and financial assistance
- Other services offered by UYI (Accommodation, Canteen, Grants, Enrolment, Travelling whilst studying, etc.).
Throughout the year, UYI also organizes events for prospective students,
including an induction and orientation session, an introduction to degree
programmes, guidance on choosing a course and preparation for university-
level study.
