Theme: Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Higher Education and Vocational Training: pedagogical, learning and assessment challenges<\/strong><\/div>

The Department of Science of Educational at the Higher Teacher Training College of the University of Yaounde I is launching a call for contributions for the third issue of the International Journal of Educational Sciences (RISE).<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
This thematic issue aims to examine the pedagogical, didactic and evaluative transformations induced by artificial intelligence in higher education and vocational training.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Objectives of the Issue:<\/strong><\/div>
  • Collect feedback on the use of AI by lecturers, learners and supervisors;<\/li>
  • Analyse the impact of AI on teaching, learning and assessment;<\/li>
  • Propose innovative and responsible approaches for integrating AI into training and research programmes.<\/li><\/ul>
    \u00a0\u00a0Research Areas (non-exhaustive)<\/strong><\/div>
    • AI and critical skills: Digital literacy and critical abilities of academic actors<\/li>
    • AI in the assessment of learning outcomes: Tools, methods and limitations<\/li>
    • AI in the supervision of thesis and dissertation: Uses, detection and ethics<\/li>
    • AI in pedagogy and teaching: Innovative tools and feedback<\/li>
    • AI for learning and augmented cognition: Writing support, accessibility and ethical considerations.<\/li><\/ul>
      Types of Contributions Accepted<\/strong><\/div>
      • Original research (empirical studies)<\/li>
      • Knowledge synthesis (systematic reviews, meta-analyses)<\/li>
      • Assorted articles (off-topic but related to educational sciences)<\/li>
      • Letters to the editor (short comments on published articles).<\/li><\/ul>
