This vital tool is the outcome of several months of\ncollaborative work, fundamentally designed to strengthen and standardize the\nmechanisms for supervising PhD students in national higher education\ninstitutions<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>The initiative forms part of the implementation of the grant agreement signed\nin 2022 between the AUF and the French Embassy in Cameroon, the main\nfocus of which is to build the institutional capacity of Cameroonian universities.\nThrough this initiative, the AUF reaffirms its commitment to fostering an open\ncollaborative French-speaking scientific community that is attuned to\ncontemporary development challenges<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>This framework drew on proven success models such as the regional doctoral\ncolleges \u2013 Mathematics, Computer Science, Bio-geosciences (MATHINBIO) \/\n\nhumanities and social sciences (CDHS) \u2013 and the PIRCPA project\n(Interregional Project for Multidisciplinary Capacity Building in Africa),\nimplemented in partnership with IRD since 2023.
